Officers' Roundtable & Membership Workshop

This is an opportunity for your PTA Officers and Membership Chairman to “gear up” for the coming school year – we hope to see some old friends and many new faces!  Workshops such as this one are made available through your PTA membership dollars – take advantage of them and work toward creating and maintaining a well-informed, successfully functioning PTA board.

 What happens at the Officers' Roundtable Workshop?  

·         Central Region officers Review responsibilities of each unit/council officer: president, vice-president, treasurer and secretary

·         Tips for how to help make your job, and others’ jobs easier

·         Each unit receives a packet of information to keep, copy, and share with others in your unit

·         Open forum opportunity for you to bring up individual questions and concerns

   What happens at Membership Workshop? 

·         Designed for your membership chairperson; many ideas for increasing your unit’s membership

·         General guidelines for paperwork, payments, and awards

·         Packet of information for each unit to keep and share with its membership team

·         Open forum opportunity for questions and idea-sharing

When is the Officers' Roundtable and Membership Workshop?

The next  Officers' Roundtable and Membership Workshop will be held on Monday, July 19th, 2010, at Calypso Cay, 11 DOckside Drive, Brewerton NY 13029   -- arrive by 6:15  Program begins promptly at 6:30pm - 8:30pm 

What is the cost?

The cost will be $15 per unit  (up to five people) or $5 per person – bring all of your officers and your membership chairman if you wish! 

 (Remember, all PTA checks must have 2 signatures.)

If you cannot attend, prepaid registration is transferable to another PTA member in your unit.
